About Me

Hello and thanks for visiting.    One of my favorite things to do is sing.   It has been since I was 2 years old.   The first time I sang in front of an audience was at Renton Assembly church in Renton, Washington at the age of five.   My dad was an irish baritone, my brother sang alto along with my mom and I usually sang melody.   We sang Andrae Crouch and Bill and Gloria Gaither songs.   When not singing in church, I would sing my favorite song, "Over the Rainbow" to all my dolls and stuffed animals and any friend that would listen.    Many times my mother would catch me in the mirror singing or acting out some part I'd seen in a tv clip.    Acting has always come a close second for me to singing.   Some of my favorite ACTORS growing up were Jimmy Stewart, Audrey Hepburn, and Julia Ormond.

Some of the roles I've played are "Laurey Williams" from the musical 'Oklahoma,'  "Lizzy" from 'Everyone's Gift, and both Mary, the mother of Jesus, and Mary Magdalene through Calvary Community's Creative Arts Department.   Most recently I played the role of "Queen Alessandra" in the musical 'Cinderella' through our local community theatre,     ManeStage Theatre based out of Sumner, WA.

I'm a mother of four now... one stepdaughter, two biological sons and most recently, an adopted daughter from China.

My life is full and I'm very blessed.

YOU TALK TOO MUCH.....

Besides my love of singing, I love to TALK.   That is no surprise to anyone who has ever met me.    In third grade, I missed a lot of recesses because of my mouth.   In fourth grade, my teacher nicknamed me "motormouth."    Well, all that talking really amounts to the fact that I love people.    I love being around them and finding out their stories.  I love creative people and all the quirks they bring to this world, including my own.

One of my missions in this life is to encourage people to live a better life than the one they are living today.  There are specific topics I have given much thought to and even though I very much enjoy one on one, on occasion I'm asked to share or teach to various womens groups.

Recent topics:  "Can I navigate change without losing my mind?"  "Worship.. a lifestyle?"
